Urban Christmas engagement session in December in Downtown Memphis, TN

I met up with Claire + Tim for their urban Christmas engagement session this past December in Downtown Memphis! The area was still decorated for the holidays, so we made sure to take advantage of the beautiful colors + decorations.

These two are the CUTEST, y’all. They met on the dating app Bumble + the rest is truly a fairytale for the digital age. [Kudos to you if you recognized that “Friends” reference! ;)]

After doing long distance for a while, Tim finally joined Claire here in Memphis! They picked out Claire’s engagement ring together, but Tim waited about 3 more months before popping the question. He chose Claire’s family farm where her grandmother grew up to propose, so someone get Disney on the phone asap because I WANNA SEE THAT MOVIE.

The cold never bothered us anyway… but the wind kind of did, tbh.

The day we met up for their engagement session it was windy AF, but we didn’t let it stop us! We explored downtown Memphis on Main Street + Front street, and then ended up by the river for the most BEAUTIFUL sunset. The two even indulged me by staying a little late during blue hour (the hour after sunset) + letting me play with some reflections + slow shutter speeds. (ANGELS, I tell ya. Thanks for letting me unleash some of my creative side, you two! <3)

I absolutely cannot WAIT for their March wedding at Hope Church + reception at The Tower Room! It’s coming up so fast + I know we’re gonna have a blast!!
